Green design means the entire life cycle of design and product (not just thinking about how the product performs). Green designers look at the entire production chain, from mining and processing to production, use and disposal. They seek to eliminate or reduce negative impacts and incorporate sustainable practices such as the use of information that will not become waste when the product is recycled, but can be recycled to the new product "closed loop".
